The film and stage veteran died Sunday night in Connecticut, after a seven-year battle with breast cancer. She was 67 years old.
Theaters will dim their marquees for one minute at 7 p.m. to remember her.
Redgrave appeared in numerous television shows and films, including her breakout performance in 1966's "Georgy Girl." But she also had a strong stage presence, including her recent one-woman show "Nightingale."
Redgrave's passing comes less than a month after the death of her brother, Corin. The two of them were part of the Redgrave acting dynasty, along with their sister Vanessa.
